The ‘Support Sport Entrepreneurial Challenge’ is our nationwide fundraising competition

which tests the creative skills of your organisations’ future stars!

 

It is an entrepreneurial fundraising challenge which sees teams of interns/apprentices from companies

across the UK competing to raise £1 500, or more, over a period of 3 months.

 

The competition is a learning and development tool which builds essential business

skills and motivates your organisations’ youngest and brightest.

 

Below is the breakdown of the specific stages of the competition:

 

• Introduction: We will provide a comprehensive introduction to the competition for all participants which will include a video and different resources outlining how it will work and our guidelines.

 

• Plan: Following the introduction and with the support of their mentors and the dedicated Inspired Through Sport coordinators, teams will turn their ideas into a business plan.

 

• Implement: Once the business plan is complete and has been successfully submitted to Inspired Through Sport and approved, we give each team £150 seed money to fund their ambitious ideas and the three months of fundraising begins.

 

• A Big Thank You: At the end of the three months fundraising, if your team has hit or exceeded the target of £1 500, we will arrange for a GB athlete to visit your organisation in order to share their inspiring story and thank the team in person.

 

• National Winner: At the end of the competition, the team which has successfully raised the most money across the country shall be announced and shall be presented with our ‘Support Sport Award’. The presentation will be carried out by an Olympic Medallist at the winning organisations offices. The athlete shall then go on to share their inspirational story and Inspired Through Sport will run workshops with the organisations’ employees on ‘Healthy Lifestyle’ and ‘Growth Mind-Set’.
